Great people and families over the centuries have left us wonderful reminders of our roots through portraiture. They have given us the firm place in history we enjoy today. A portrait is a record of that person and that time, it will be appreciated by generations to come.

Andrew is a figurative painter working predominantly from life in oils, he uses light to pull his subjects out of the canvas. Whether the subject is portrayed energetically in as little as one sitting or layered over multiple sittings, his passion for life, light, form and paint are evident throughout his work.
